Introducing A New Resource Helping Lesbians Create & Sustain Healthy Relationships
Dr. Ruth Schwartz and Dr. Michelle Murrain, a joyful couple and the co-founders of Conscious Girlfriend, a new resource helping queer women and lesbians develop the tools to create and sustain happy, healthy relationships. This is an exciting endeavor, because as you know, there is so little out there like this for our community!
Their motto is:
“End drama, fights and heartbreak – and begin the love life you want and deserve.”
Their work emerges from their backgrounds in psychology, neuroscience and spirituality, as well as their own long personal experiences. Their website offers many free resources, including videos, online and phone classes, articles and an advice column. Plus, anyone who signs up for the mailing list receives a free booklet, “The Five Keys to a Happy Lesbian Relationship.”
In May, they will host their first live Conscious Girlfriend weekend retreat!

News just in! Special Guest will entertain!!
If you weren’t sure you were coming Friday, think again!
- This bistro is full of great surprises. We are going to a place we have fixed up just for you…like going to camp in a cabin in the woods! With a big glowing fireplace! We will eat wonderful stews and beans, bread and goodies.
- Special very local guest star—storyteller, comedian and gamester—Wood Berry can’t wait to entertain us!! Don’t miss it, I have heard what he plans!
- Come to GLSO Friday by 7:00 sharp. We will be leaving right at 7:00. If you will be late call me for the address where we are going and you can meet us there.
- Bring a friend. Sit around the fire with senior buddies for laughs and fun!
- (I’ll have Pit with me for later! Woody’s never played Pit. This could be fun!)
