Company Q is a unique performance/ social justice theatre troupe for young people focusing on queer issues based out of the PCSO in Lexington, KY.
We meet weekly at the PCSO Pride Center each semester for writing, production, and rehearsl of shows. Folks ages 14-22 are welcome, regardless of how you identify. We focus primarily on relevant queer, gender, and ally issues facing young people. Improvisation, devising, and ensemble building are our focus. Youth are given a prompt or topic and create original work around that issue. Each semester culminates in a performance.
