We might encourage teachers to become advisors in their school if they knew there was a volunteer from the community willing to help. We have training materials on how to start a GSA, how to attract new students, how to lead meetings and so forth. We also have discussion guides, team building games, DVDs and other materials.<\/p>\n<p>Volunteers would need to have time in mid-afternoon to visit schools. Or idea is to have people willing to visit a specific school frequently in the fall and then periodically during the school year.
