The Discussion Group is for anybody that needs to talk about their lives.\u00a0 We meet each Wednesday at the Pride Center, 389 Waller Ave at 7PM.\u00a0 The group is for all adults in all ways of living.\u00a0 We talk about work, family, feelings, money, hopes and dreams and what-ever you want to talk about.<\/p>\n

We have five guidelines.<\/p>\n

  1. Confidentiality; what is said here stays here.<\/li>\n
  2. No Advice; speak from experience only<\/li>\n
  3. \u00a0Respect; everyone has a right to be listened to<\/li>\n
  4. Acceptance; you are accept-ed as you are and as a group that is discriminated against, we will not discriminate against others<\/li>\n
  5. Support (Not Therapy)Once a month we have a topic for the discussion.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    On May 16th the topic will be Family. The group is led by Ginger Moore-Minder and Chris Whittington.\u00a0 The hardest part is coming through the door.\u00a0 After that, you\u2019ll be alright.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
