GLSO ANNOUNCES ELECTION OF AMY HATTER TO BOARD

The GLSO is proud to announce that Amy Hatter has been elected to a position on the GLSO Board.  Amy graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelors in Sociology in 2008. She has worked at Radio Eye (Kentucky’s only radio reading service, serving the blind, visually impaired, and print disabled) ever since, and has been the Executive Director since 2011. Amy is also on the board of the International Association of Audio Information Services (IAAIS), an organization that promotes the importance of reading services across the country and in Canada and New Zealand.  Amy has been the Web/IT Chair for the Lexington Pride Festival for 2 years, and will be joining the GLSO Board to take over all of the GLSO Web/IT duties.  Please join us in welcoming Amy.

As always, GLSO Board meetings are open to everyone; if you are interested in joining the Board or would just like to attend our meetings as a guest.  Board meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month at 6:30PM at the GLSO Center (389 Waller Avenue, #100, Lexington, KY 40504).
